Services

Elite Personal Chefs provides private chef services including private events, meal prep, catering, trade shows, consulting, and related culinary services. All services are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.

Independent Contractor Notice

By booking services through Elite Personal Chefs, you acknowledge that you are hiring an independent professional contractor.

All chefs, service staff, and other professionals on our platform are independent contractors, not employees of Elite Personal Chefs, Inc. As such:

  • Independent contractors are not covered under Elite Personal Chefs' Liability Insurance or Workers' Compensation Insurance
  • Elite Personal Chefs facilitates the connection between clients and independent professionals but is not the employer of the service provider
  • Each independent professional is responsible for their own insurance coverage, certifications, and compliance with applicable laws

We recommend confirming that your service provider carries appropriate insurance coverage for your event.

Booking & Deposits

A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The deposit amount varies by service type and will be outlined in your proposal. Deposits are applied toward your final balance. The remaining balance is due on the day of service or upon completion.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation timelines are measured from the scheduled service date:

  • 30+ days before service: Full refund of deposit.
  • 2–30 days before service: Deposit is non-refundable and held as future credit.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. We will make every effort to accommodate changes.

Non-Solicitation

Clients agree not to directly solicit, hire, or engage any Elite Personal Chefs professional for services outside of the EPC platform for a period of 24 months following the last service rendered. Violation of this clause may result in a fee equal to 10 times the contracted rate.

Late Payments

Outstanding balances not paid within 7 days of the service date may be subject to a late fee of 3% per day until the balance is settled in full.

Liability

Elite Personal Chefs carries appropriate insurance for our services. Clients are responsible for disclosing all food allergies and dietary restrictions prior to the event. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment in home kitchens. Liability is limited to the aggregate amount paid for the service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

When you use our services, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, event details, dietary preferences, and payment information. This information is collected when you submit a quote request, create an account, or communicate with our team.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide our chef services, process payments, communicate about your bookings, send proposals and invoices, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Payment Processing

Payment information is processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. All transactions are encrypted and processed in compliance with industry security standards.
