I am a professional chef out of northern Illinois with a passion for nutrition and the outdoors. I have worked my way through the best restaurants and resorts in the country including Smyth, Boka, Blackberry Farm, Within the Wild and Emmer and Rye. I have worked in Austin, Tx, Chicago, Knoxville, TN, Charleston, Washington State, and Alaska. The key to life is adventure and being spontaneous! My curiosity has led me to being extremely versatile in having experience all over the kitchen including pastry, bread baking, bartending, and live fire cooking!

Call me biased but Boka is always a great meal. Get the duck! You’re welcome.
What's your favorite thing to cook for yourself?
I love Asian style noodle dishes
Why did you want to be a chef?
It was my destiny. As far as I can remember food has been in the forefront. I can remember watching old school Iron Chef marathons as a very young child.
If you're not in the kitchen - what are some of your hobbies & interests?
The outdoors! Hiking, fishing, gardening, ect
